Hi Everyone !

Can anybody help me with this little problem. I have been struggling with it since I bought vray 3.6 , generally its hard for me to set the glass the way I want it and I always try to modify the existing materials which are already good. In this case single sheet of glass is in the frame but what is rendered behind it appears black. When I flip it 180 degrees it will disappear but appear on the other side.

I would appreciate any comments, help and direction.

Ok, I have managed to figure out what was wrong with these materials. I have applied to the frames as well to the window sill Toon material and that was causing the problem. All I needed to do is untick the Visible in Reflections/Refractions options and all worked perfectly.

It also helps if the glass has thickness instead of a single plane. This is more realistic.

Good question - is it a surface or a closed polysurface?
