Hannamdong 4- The Exploration process

Step 1: Preparing the Foundation

Our journey begins with the client’s source files, mainly (but not only) a 3D model of the project. These files serve as the backbone of our work. Our team meticulously processes the data, cleaning up any inconsistencies and optimizing the model for visualization. This step lays a solid foundation, ensuring the model is ready for the next stages of creative development.

Step 2: Adding Life to the Model

A great visualization is more than just a structure; it’s about creating a world around it. We enrich the cleaned model by adding entourage—landscaping, furniture, vehicles, and human elements—to provide context and depth. These additions help set the scene and infuse the project with a sense of realism and emotion.

Step 3: Exploring Ideas with Sketches

With the model prepared and the scene set, we transition into the exploration phase. Here, our team creates a series of artistic sketches—imaginative projections of how we envision the final images. These sketches capture different perspectives, moods, and atmospheres, offering a variety of creative directions for the project.

Step 4: Collaborative Decision-Making

The sketches are then presented to the client, providing them with a range of artistic options. This collaborative step is crucial, as it ensures the final visuals align with the client’s vision and goals. Once the client selects their preferred sketches, we move forward with refining these concepts into polished imagery.

Step 5: Finalizing the Presentation

The selected sketches are pushed to the pre final stage, where they are transformed into high-quality visualizations. This involves detailed rendering, advanced post-production, and the application of lighting, textures, and effects to achieve a photorealistic finish. The result is a set of stunning images ready to captivate audiences and elevate the project’s presentation.

Showcasing the Result

Each completed project is a testament to the synergy between artistic creativity and technical expertise. By following this structured yet flexible process, we ensure that every image resonates with emotion and leaves a lasting impression.

We’re excited to share some examples of this workflow we prepared in action in cooperation with amazing team of UN Studio !
