Description
Example is modernist era furniture design. Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927. This tubular steel cantilever chair unites timeless elegance with comfortable seating. Elegance and transparency. The front part of the tubular steel frame is shaped as a big bow which gives the chair its pringy effect. While most of the designs from the 1920s were rather simple and functional, this chair clearly communicates the signature of the architect: his design combines functionality and comfort with timeless aesthetics. 'Upholstery' of this chair is made of wicker.
