New photoshoot for our upcoming scenes: Forest cabin

We are working hard on creating new stuff every day! Besides new and amazing projects for commercial clients (which we are not entitled to show publicly yet), we managed to find some time to create something very hot: new 3D scenes for FlyingArchitecture online shop.

As for now, we only have a single 3D scene with household assets (Beach house interior), so we were very unpatient to have some spare time again to create more scenes like that. And this time came up last week. Finally, we can show you some shards from what we are baking for you: Stylish Forest cabin, a young writer's creative shelter and occasional partyhouse. Sounds great, right? :)

So we designed and modeled the whole house, including all furnitures and interior assets. In the upcoming series of 3D interiors and PSD files, you'll find everything you might need for your interiors: Living room assets, kitchen and dining room assets, bathroom, bedroom assets, fully furnished terrace... and for your information, we even modeled rib eye steaks on a grill! That's how hard we are tying :)

These scenes are, as usually, created completely in Rhinoceros 5 and V-Ray.

We are in the process of postproduction at the moment, finishing all renderd scenes in Photoshop. First of the scenes should be online sometimes next week... if everything goes right.

Aaaaaah... purrrrrrfect :) Julliet approves!

3D printed concrete architecture

We had several opportunities to work on visualizations for the projects involving 3D printed buildings. One of them was The Tent, a building meant as a refugee shelter that is quickly erected after a major natural disaster in China.

The switch

Recently, we have decided to limit our support for the store with 3D assets and instead fully focus on what we love to do – creating striking architectural visualizations.

We are excited about this transformation and believe that it will enable us to better showcase and present our capabilities, to show the customers what we really do and provide even greater value to them.

Realtime walkthrough: Lake Cabin, part 3

Terrain sculpting tools in UE4 provide a very smooth experience and with addition of alpha brushes you can get pretty realistic detail. However sculpting large-scale believable terrains is a time consuming process and you need a keen eye for how the terrain is formed in the real world.
