All new FlyingArchitecture 2019

Bigger | Better | Faster | More

It's a little less than 10 years since we started FlyingArchitecture - a website dedicated to 3D assets for Rhinoceros and V-Ray. We started with a single 3D model, extending the number to over 1800 products now. That makes 1 item every second day.

We built the community gathering more than 138 000 members, who decided to follow our 3D adventures combining 3D models, scenes, materials, textures, tutorials, workshops and our renderings. Having all you, people, on board is a big commitment for us - we always tried to bring you the best content and services and from now on, it’s only going to get better.

It's time to upgrade your experience.

See the shortlist of some of the hundreds of improvements we did:

Overall design - we spent hundreds of hours together with designers and programmers on building the new front-end experience, so what to say... explore & enjoy!

Cart - Yes, you can finally purchase more products at once. We understand that paying for each product separately is a good thing when you only want to get a single product (we kept that feature, too!), but if you want to purchase more of them, we got you covered now. Here it is - all new Cart feature. Simple, beautiful and powerful - Just how it should be - nothing more, nothing less.

Product pages - We made all necessary information accessible at a fingertip, so you can easily find whatever needed, not spending a spare second searching for it.

Authors - From now on, you can easily check the author of the product - And yes, that’s right - you can become one, too!

Purchased product list - if you purchase a product on FlyingArchitecture, it will be accessible along with previously purchased items in a single place, so you don’t have to search for your downloads anymore.

Search - Better and more accurate than ever before, so everything is at hand whenever you need it.

Tutorials - we prepared some new cool video tutorials for you - will be published soon, so you will have to be a little bit patient here ;)

Portfolio - and finally, something we are personally really proud of. As you may know, we also provide architectural visualization services. Finally, this year we received several approvals to show some of the amazing projects publicly. And we think this huge update deserves a better viewing experience, too. Some great projects are coming online soon.

That’s all for now - thank you for reading up to this point, feel free to browse our website and let us know what you think!

Always yours, fully dedicated

FlyingArchitecture Team

Hannamdong 4- The Exploration process

At FlyingArchitecture, every project tells a unique story, and our workflow ensures that each one is crafted to perfection. We take pride in our methodical yet creative approach to turning initial concepts into compelling visual narratives. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we bring our projects to life.

3D printed concrete architecture

We had several opportunities to work on visualizations for the projects involving 3D printed buildings. One of them was The Tent, a building meant as a refugee shelter that is quickly erected after a major natural disaster in China.

The switch

Recently, we have decided to limit our support for the store with 3D assets and instead fully focus on what we love to do – creating striking architectural visualizations.

The nature of FlyingArchitecture revealed

We are excited about this transformation and believe that it will enable us to better showcase and present our capabilities, to show the customers what we really do and provide even greater value to them.

Realtime walkthrough: Lake Cabin, part 3

Terrain sculpting tools in UE4 provide a very smooth experience and with addition of alpha brushes you can get pretty realistic detail. However sculpting large-scale believable terrains is a time consuming process and you need a keen eye for how the terrain is formed in the real world.
