Qubus tutorial in progress

We are currently working on a new set of tutorials - Architectural modeling in Rhinoceros 5. In this case, we used some plugins, like VisualARQ and Kitchen Generator (Both will be covered in the upcoming tutorial). Here are some sneak-peek previews:

Inserting proxy assets into the Rhino block geometry for better optimization.

Preview of assets collected and categorized.

Kitchen generator will be covered in the tutorial. Even if there's not much to cover, as it's a very simple solution - it will be there :) 

Railing will be covered under the VisualARQ section, which was widely used in the modeling part.

Creating the background using some source photos.

We had several opportunities to work on visualizations for the projects involving 3D printed buildings. One of them was The Tent, a building meant as a refugee shelter that is quickly erected after a major natural disaster in China.

Terrain sculpting tools in UE4 provide a very smooth experience and with addition of alpha brushes you can get pretty realistic detail. However sculpting large-scale believable terrains is a time consuming process and you need a keen eye for how the terrain is formed in the real world.
